Recipe of the Month - August - Chai Tea
This delightful home-made Chai Tea is sure to warm the soul on those cold days.

- 6 cups of water
- 2 teaspoons coriander seeds, crushed
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon whole fennel seeds
- 2 teaspoons whole cardamom pods
- 2 teaspoons black tea leaves
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 2 star anise pods
- 2 cinnamon sticks or 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 cups almond milk
- Honey to taste
Step 1. Bring water to boil.
Step 2. Add dry ingredients.
Step 3. Simmer for 10min.
Step 4. Place a fine strainer or stocking over a heatproof bowl (preferably with a spout).
Step 5. Pour into bowl and let cool gor 5mins.
Step 6. Add honey and stir through.
Step 7. Pour in Almond milk and gently stir through.
Pour into tightly sealed containers. Store in fridge for up to 5 days. Reheat in microwave for approx 1min in a mug and drink.
